Senator Sanders and Colleagues Propose New, and Effective, Ideas to Save American Jobs

On December 18, Senator Bernard Sanders [I-VT] introduced two bills: S. 2914, to provide for the establishment of the United States Employee Ownership Bank, and S. 2909, to provide programs to encourage employee ownership and participation in business decisionmaking throughout the United States. Both bills were co-sponsored by three Senate colleagues: Senators Sherrod Brown [D-OH], Patrick J. Leahy [D-VT], and Robert Menendez [D-NJ].
