Bob Woodward, Renowned Author and Reporter, Keynoting TEA National Conference 2022

Effective communications and self-advocacy require a sober analysis of where you are, what the environment looks like, and the factors that will influence your success.  In Washington, DC and at home, we tend to gravitate toward the quick-hit – a sometimes superficial, almost sports-game approach to understanding our country and government.  But Bob Woodward is different.

Bob Woodward pulls the curtain back on Washington and its leaders to captivate audiences with stories that are sometimes surprising, at times shocking, and always fascinating. He blends stories that are both up to the minute and from the past, providing vital historical context. Woodward speaks as he writes – crisp and concise – and helps people get behind the spin to understand what’s really going on in the halls of power in an age of 24-hour news, social media, and gotcha politics.   He is the epitome of the sober analysis that’s needed.

We’ve asked Pulitzer-prize winning author and reporter Bob Woodward to share his experience and perspectives with us and discuss America -- where we’ve been, where we are, and how did we get here -- and help us apply those lessons to our movement toward a more equitable employee/employer dynamic in our economy.

Professionally, Bob Woodward’s accolades are lengthy.  He is currently associate editor for The Washington Post where he’s worked since 1971.  He has won nearly every American journalism award, and The Washington Post won the 1973 Pulitzer Prize for his work with Carl Bernstein on the Watergate scandal. In addition, Woodward was the main reporter for the Post’s articles on the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks that won the National Affairs Pulitzer Prize in 2002. He is author of 21 bestselling books that cover several topics – 15 went to #1 – more than any contemporary nonfiction writer.

No one else in political investigative journalism has the clout, respect, and reputation of Woodward, and we are very pleased he will be addressing our National Conference 2022.
